Beaches
There are several spectacular beaches in Can Picafort. It is in the heart of Alcudia Bay and has more than 9 kilometres of coastline, featuring fine sandy beaches and tucked-away areas. Among the most outstanding beaches are Gran de Can Picafort, Son Bauló (200 meters from our hotel), Son Real, Na Patana, S'Arenal den Casat, Es Serralot and Son Serra de Marina. All of them have a very gentle slope, and even if you wade far out into the sea it remains relatively shallow. Moreover, the waters are calm with gentle waves, which makes them perfect for enjoying with children, in addition to the elderly and those with reduced mobility.
The beaches of Muro are also very close by, with Es Capellans in particular being the closest to Can Picafort. Like the rest of the beaches in the municipality of Muro, its waters are transparent and have moderate waves, fine golden sand, and are ideal for all types of users.
Places of interest

Albufera of Mallorca
The Albufera of Mallorca is the largest wetland area in the Balearic Islands and is especially protected for birds; here you’ll have to opportunity to enjoy a variety of walks to discover the wetland’s fauna and flora. It features 1,646.48 hectares of wetlands and is located in the municipalities of Muro and Sa Pobla.

Son Real estate
The Son Real estate is located in an area that has been inhabited by humans since prehistoric times to the present day. In the surrounding area there are pre-Talayotic (Es Figueral archaeological site), Talayotic (Son Real necropolis and Punta dels Fenicis), Roman, Islamic and mediaeval remains (the Mallorcan "possessions", which have continuously undergoing change to the present day).
The Son Real estate is the ideal place to watch more than 200 species of birds that live in the area, and it has several observation posts, signposted routes and information points.
